The Haverford Guild of Craftsmen is now accepting applications for their 2026 Holiday Art & Fine Craft Show! This is an indoor juried event, featuring some of the finest arts and crafts in the Philadelphia area. HGC Fine Art & Craft Shows attract visitors from Philadelphia and its surrounding counties, New Jersey, Delaware and beyond. Our patrons represent an educated and affluent demographic with a taste for exceptional artwork and a sensibility for supporting local businesses.

Dear artist friends,
Welcome to show season! We will all be busy over the next five to six months with preparations for the various art shows we will be attending, both as exhibitors and as patrons. A number of you participated in the Chester County Studio Tour this past weekend. Congratulations on exhibiting at this event; I look forward to hearing about your experiences. At least one of our artist members will be exhibiting this weekend at the Paradise City art festival in western Massachusetts. Having visited this art show last year, I can vouch for the quality of the craftspeople. Just being accepted to this event is a huge feather in one’s cap!
Whatever shows you are in this summer autumn, I wish you the best experience and huge success. Please share your experiences with me and your fellow HGC artists!
Please pay special attention to this month’s general meeting, a make-n-take featuring Ukrainian Psanky eggs led by Bob Antonishak. This promises to be a fun and engaging meeting. Note that this meeting, held on Wednesday, May 20, at St. George’s church will be in-person only. I look forward to seeing you there!
