        About Me

        • Tamara Honaman is a passionate jewelry artist who loves teaching and sharing her knowledge with others. She can be found virtually as well as nationally and internationally, teaching, demonstrating, and speaking about making as well as the business behind being a maker. Tamara’s work and projects can be seen in magazines, books, and television programs. She also appears in videos on various industry websites, where she enthusiastically shares her love for all kinds of art materials.

Tamara believes everyone can make something beautiful and pours her heart into all she shares. In her private mentorship group, she offers techniques, projects, Q&A sessions and more—meeting you where you are so you can be inspired, empowered, and creative!

She is also passionate about connecting people together—the artist and those who want to learn. With that, she launched her podcast, Heart & Hands of a Maker to amplify the maker’s journey so everyone can learn from the stories being shared.

Tamara is certified in various metal clay programs. She has authored several instructional videos and books, including Secrets to Metal Clay Success and Secrets to Art Clay Success. She also co-authored Polymer Clay Master Class. Tamara has a new metal clay book, Projects & Techniques for Metal Clay Jewelry, launching July 2025, available where all books are sold.
